Alina is a former professional and NCAA Division I tennis player and a current tennis coach based in Calgary, Canada. She began playing tennis at the age of seven and have since developed a career across international competition, collegiate tennis, and professional coaching. While she is no longer competing, she remains deeply involved in the sport through high-level player development.

Alina has over 15 years of playing experience, starting at age seven and continuing through junior, professional, and NCAA Division I competition.

​

Competitive Highlights:

    Achieved a Top 5 NCAA Division I doubles ranking
    Achieved a Top 125 NCAA Division I singles ranking
    Competed in ITF $15K professional tournaments
    Won multiple Russian National tournaments
    Extensive match experience at the junior, collegiate, and professional levels

​

She trained in both Russia and the United States, and competed internationally across Europe and North America. This experience exposed her to a wide range of playing styles, training systems, and competitive environments.

​

She currently coaches high-performance junior athletes aged 9–16 who compete in Tennis Canada and ITF events, as well as adult and college-level players. Her coaching style focuses on technical development, match preparation, tactical awareness, and helping players transition through competitive stages with structure and confidence.

​

Her background as a former elite competitor allows her to bring a structured, detail-oriented approach to coaching. She values clear communication, professionalism, individualized development, and consistent support for her players, and she is committed to helping athletes reach their potential both on and off the court.
