No. 34 in Canada Boys U14 Singles

Equipment: Blackout 285, Confidential

Lucian Enns was born in Toronto but grew up on BC's Sunshine Coast, a natural Canadian rainforest far away from a tennis culture. Lucian was a late bloomer in tennis - he only began weekly training in 2021. In late 2021, the leadership of the Suncoast Racquet Club noticed how much he loved playing tennis and sponsored a trip to Barcelona for him to learn the game and gain experience.

During 2021-2023, Lucian spent 10 months training and competing in Europe. By the fall of 2023, Lucian was a full member of Tennis Canada’s Regional Training Centre, and reached a national rank of #11 that year. In 2023 (u12), Lucian had several impressive results, including winning two singles events at the 91st Edition of the Stanley Park Open (as well as finalist in doubles), and being a finalist in Outdoor Provincials, and a Semi- Final Appearance in a Tennis Europe Category 1 event in Cote D’Azur, France. Lucian has trained and competed in Portugal, Spain, France, the US, and Canada.

Lucian Enns (2011) is an official member of the Tennis Canada u15 Prospect Team.

Lucian took 2 months away from tennis in the winter of 2023/24 for a family emergency, which exemplifies his resilience in producing a strong finish in 2024. His return to form was made possible by Lucian’s dedicated family of coaches, Dusan Vemic, and Luka Zovko, stepping in to help Luc close the gap, and the trust of the Tennis Canada Regional Training Centre team during a transition period. Lucian has been coached by Dusan since May 2024, and trained by Luka since December 2023. Prior to his move to Toronto, Lucian was coached by Oded Jacob in Vancouver and at the 4Slam Tennis Academy in Barcelona.

In the 2024 Under 14 Fischer Outdoor National Championships, Lucian finished 10th, and 3rd his age (2011) overall. In the 2024, Yonex u14 Ontario Junior Closed Outdoor Provincial Championships, Lucian finished 4th, and 2nd his age, over all.
