Callum started playing tennis at two years old but didn't start training more seriously until he was 8.
He has been a multi-sport athlete for a number of years and only started focusing exclusively on tennis a little over a year ago. Before that he played competitive hockey at the AA level and also played competitive soccer and basketball.

He currently trains at the Granite Club and his coach is David Cysneiros.

In Feb. and March he played U14 tournaments in Europe, including the prestigious super category Kungens Kanna tournament in Stockholm, which had 18 of the top 20 players from Europe. He made it to the Quarter Finals in that tournament and is the first Canadian to make it to the "Last Eight Club" since they started it.
He also made the QF of a category 1 tournament in Helsinki in March.
In April 2024, he won the U14 Indoor Nationals in Vancouver. Continuing with his action-packed 2024 season, he played in the No. 1 spot for Team Canada at the World Junior Tennis Championships in the Czech Republic, competing against some of the top juniors in the world. Most recently, in September 2024, he won the U14 Outdoor National in both singles and doubles.
